They're often sold side by side, but they do two different jobs. An antiperspirant uses aluminium salts to temporarily plug your sweat ducts, so you sweat less. A deodorant doesn't stop sweat at all. It works on odour instead, keeping you smelling fresh while your body sweats as normal. 'Under Control' is a natural deodorant, so it is aluminium-free by design.

Our natural roll-on deodorant uses magnesium hydroxide as its main odour fighter, with just a touch of baking soda, so it's gentle on underarms that find strong bicarb deodorants too harsh. Arrowroot powder absorbs moisture for a soft, dry feel, and our Eucalyptus Breeze blend of eucalyptus, May Chang and cedarwood essential oils keeps you smelling crisp and clean. SWITCHING FROM ANTIPERSPIRANT TO NATURAL DEODORANT
Give your body a week or two. When you stop using an antiperspirant, your sweat ducts are no longer being blocked, so many people notice they sweat a little more at first. This settles down. Apply to clean, dry skin straight after your shower, let it dry for a minute before dressing, and top up on hot days or after exercise.
